alloy vs. steel wheels

What is everyones preference? I like the look of alloys but they are a hassle to keep clean, they get curb rash easily. Steels are heavy, the hub caps break, but they are very durable.



2 of my steel wheels are toast on one car and I am considering replacing with alloys (20 spoke 15 inch aries) but not sure.
