Hi, I've just done this stripping a car, I removed the doors, I seem to remember this made it easier, front came off in one piece quite easily, took about 2 hours. mind you I have no intention of putting it back and that could be more time consuming. Another way to do this, probably easier is to drop the front suspension ,4 bolts on the cross member and 2 on the steering arms, and then lift the body over the whole lot, if you take the wheels off it should be very low.
