The knob is easy, but you should be so lucky that that fixes the AC. If you need the whole switch,that switch has a long tube attached to the evaporator pipe with two radiator clamps and it is covered in black tar. By the passengers (front) left knee, it is a little bit of a job to replace and it might not be the only problem with the AC.
