Sounds like you're on the right track with your diagnosis... maybe add ball joints to your list, too. Have you checked out the 700/900 FAQ? Lots of info there on all of these jobs.
As far as doing the work yourself... you might want to pick one of the easier jobs, like replacing the cone (radius rod) bushings, to try first. You don't need lots of special tools... just a floor jack, jack stands, a breaker bar, deep sockets, and a torque wrench... and you can order the bushings from your favorite online supplier (like FCP Groton) for about $25. Give yourself a couple hours and follow the procedure in the FAQ.
After changing the cone bushings, you should know if you're up for more susupension work. It's all dirty gorilla-style work. Even the more difficult jobs on your list, like struts & front springs, are not all that complicated - there are just many time-consuming steps.
