flywheel Difference 140-160

If you look at them you will see that the automatic does not have a flywheel
per se, rather a spider that holds the starter gear and bolts to the torque
converter which is heavy enough to serve as a flywheel. There is also a spacer
that fits over the end of the crank and looks like the end of the crank
and gives the impression that there is not a bore for the idler bearing.
