If you still haven't found your problem - for what it's worth I had a "difficult start - no matter what temp" problem w/ my sons' '78 242GT w/K-jet. After "going through" the entire fuel system from the pre-pump to the injectors, checking each component, keeping notes after each change - the one thing that made the difference was replacing the fuel accumulator - (located on the mounting assembly with the main fuel pump) they are cheap and easy to change.
