I've had the exact same problem with my '89 GLE. I've changed the FPR and put in a new fuel filter with no effect. The car runs great cold, and at speed, but after a warm start it has the same problem you describe until I drive it at speed for a few minutes. I'm taking it into the shop on Monday, so I'll let you know what the pro's say. I'm actually thinking it is an O2 sensor problem based on the cold vs warm start issues, and the fact that the car runs fine at all times other than after a warm start. We'll see.
