Flame Trap Question 700

The stubby little hose slips over a plastic flange that is part of the breather box. Just pull it off, it isn't connected to anything inside the box. It's just sort of difficult to reattach without small hands. Just one hour ago I finished replacing the breather box on my car and had that exact same hose off and then back on again.
