M46 Overdrive Problems

The relay should be located on the left side of the opening for the glove box. Just take the glove box out and the relay should be right there on the left side. Should be green in color. Relay could be bad and some will say to resolder the ciruit board inside the relay. That's up to you. I would make sure that everything else is working correctly before going inside the relay.

Keep in mind the transmission switch could be bad and that will keep the transmission from going into OD. The switch is easy to change and is located on passenger side of the transmission at the top.
