Good question...

Actually, it was a friend who discovered this. Every few years, he squirts bar oil into the hidden hooks and crannies of his Volvo's body to prevent rust. Because the squirter fits on a regular-size oil bottle, that's what he put the bar oil into. He grabbed the wrong bottle when topping off his tranny.
