Engine check-light on, but shows no faults- code 1-1-1 200 1993

The Lambda check-light came on this morning when I started up. I checked for codes in socket no. 2 but it flashed 1-1-1 no faults.
I tried to cancel the signal (pessed button for at least 5 seconds) but the LED did not respond. On restarting the warning light was still on, and still no codes showing other than 1-1-1.
The engine is running perfectly.
Can anyone explain what is happening please?
