b21 in a 73 142 140-160

Your average B21E Inlet port flows 86CFM @ 10" H2O with a 44mm valve at 0.375" lift & doesn't get any better. B20B inlets typically flow 88CFM @ 10" H2O with the same size/shape valve at 0.350" lift, 99.5 @ 0.4375" & 107 @ 0.525". The much much bigger short side radius is why the B20 ports are better. The better port angle of the B21 does bugger all because the short side radius is so poor. It's the same reason B20 & B21 Exhaust ports are poor. I haven't had the opportunity to flow the good B23 heads with the swan neck shapped inlets, they do look heaps better however.
