The 75 164 had two different types of tailight designs as I have two 75 164 each with a different design. The design you have looks as if the turn signal(amber) has faded. The same thing happen to mine. I found some amber color from an arts and crafts store and repainted the amber color back in. At least I would pass inspection that way. It has lasted for years so it is a viable solution but not authentic.

The 75 240 series uses the same style tailights. The amber color appears to be more stable in that model.
