Light blubs: 1157, 2057, 3057 (all GE)what is the difference.

The 1157 and the 2057..They seem the same to me. The 3057 has a different socket end on it. Used for the same purpose i.e. running lights/brake lights but for some reason the car manufacturers needed to screw around and redesign the sockets.
