This car remains a walking (er, should I say rolling) contradiction. I have NEVER had a battery problem. Put an Interstate megatron in my 92 when I purchased it in in early 96. It's still in there. My 97 V90 had a brand new Volvo battery installed before I purchased it. It's been flawless. I did soak the positive terminal with battery protector, as well as installing one of those felt rings.
