Very true. The ATF will allow the venturi to open up on cold starting, allowing enough fuel to enter. Works both ways, I guess. Couldn't make one of my B18s start at -20F and the lighter oil was the solution. By the time the weather warmed up it had all leaked out anyway...hot running probably was adversely effected, but I was just plain pickled tink that it ran at all.
