If you consider Gov't regulations to be legitimate.

In the past, lighting regulations in this country were a joke. Even at 55 we were overdriving our headlights. And heaven forbid they let us use actual glass.

The gov has loosened up a bit in recent years thanks to a massive effort by Detroit.
