Before going to the apraiser do your homework. They all know the current market value of a 19?? chev/ford..., but a Volvo? In my case they asked me what price to put on there estimate, so bring current internet listings for similar cars(the more expensive the better for you. The insurance cost between a $8k and a $15k car are minimal(at least here), so know your appraiser.
