Will cleaning the throttle body make a difference?? 700

I think I would be pissed off that the "mechanics are volvo specialists here in town", didn't clean the throttle body first thing!

Once again, an air mass unit being replaced for no reason other than they don't know what they are doing.

ps. I believe the AMM has to be adjusted to the car (2.2LH) using the green
pigtail for CO on rt front fender well. (Using a dwell meter you should get an even oscillation of needle, then slightly rich)I suspect these individuals probably did not adjust properly. (rich/lean)
