other than a volvo, you would suggest.......

I was just looking for some peoples past experiences in car. Seeing as i'm 22 and graduating college, going on to grad school, I do not have the time or money to do my own work on my volvo. I'm down $2300 + from replacing the engine, and I think i need to sell it while its still running. I was going for a more "american made" car because they seem cheaper. My parents have had three dodge intrepids that have all been perfect, but I was looking for some other ideas..... my hopes arent high now.
