Correct, ATF+3 has friction additives. They could in thought harm your trans. I have already learned from costomer's transmissions that unless your bearings are very loose, it can do harm.

On the other hand, that's the opposite problem from what ppl still seem to be having with their Chrystler trannies. Specifically the 704 van trannie. They either need to use atf+3 or use a friction additive by LubeGaurd.
