How to add several images from the gallery to a post ??

I think your problem is caused by the total file size allowed for pictures. I tried to post pics in the past--and had to shrink them down to meet the file size restriction--forgot what that limit is-but-its explained in the instructions. When I tried to shrink the pics--they were too small and distorted and being new at digital pictures and digital cameras-didnt retry yet
