Mr Hyde,

1) You should never touch the tip of the o2 sensor with your hands...

2) What codes are you getting from the diagnostic unit on inner fender?

3) Do you have a Bently's service manual for your car?

4) Get a new o2 sensor for you car... especially if it hasn't been changed...
