I am curious as to what two wires you disconnected. I have manuals on both the 960 and 940 injection systems and both show a 6 wire connector. The code listed for an AMM problem is 121on both systems. The previous posts give you the information on how to get rid of the check engine light although it is not the correct procedure but it will work.
