I've got an 83 245. The oil pressure switch wire runs from the pressure switch to the firewall where it goes into a gray plug wiht 5-6 other wires. If you have this plug, unplug it and see if the oil light goes out with the key in the off position. If it does, you'll know there is a wiring short somewhere in the engine compartment. If not, the problem is under the dash. Good luck. jp
