The car that you want to lower - is it actually a P220, or do you
mean "standard 240?" On real-world roads, extreme lowering does
not necessarily improve handling, as suspension articulation
is reduced, leading to the possibility of wheels losing contact
with the ground on less-than-perfect surfaces. Besides, with
3" of clearance, you'll be buying a new exhaust system quite
often. That is, if the car _can_ even be lowered that much. Keep
in mind that older Volvos (220,240) have a solid rear axle, and
lowering will do wierd things to the driveshaft position.
