how many miles/kms does yours have? good shape? 700 1990

I have a 1981 740GLE (with the B230E), bought it at 127,000 miles, it's now on 140,000 miles. Damn fine car. Damn fine. Generally, they're only considered "run in" at 150,000 miles... I've "parked" it into grass banks and iron fences, and it didn't even break the reg. plate. I've hit kerbs sideways with both front & back wheels and it just carried on. Didn't even change the wheel alignment. (It was snowing and I hit a patch at 35 mph...)

Great car.
