muffler put on backwards at midas 200

Hey i was looking at a muffler that was just replaced.....and the words inlet and an arrow point towards the tailpipe end of the exhaust system. Isn't inlet> supposed to point the otehr way way....that is isn't it supposed to point toward the front end of the cars exhaust??
