Strut problem 200

There is a lot of "slop" where the 3 bolts hold the ball joint to the control arm. If you had the BJs off, you may have taken up all the slop in the inboard direction. This affects Camber (making it positive), and an alignment would require moving the top end in some to compensate.

I don't quite understand where the rub is, or how it could loosen the gland nut, but thought I'd toss this in.
