I am need to know the Ohm range . 200

My Mitchell CD manual states that the fuel tank sender resistance should read
35 to 45 ohms at full tank and 230 to 330 ohms at empty.

It sounds like the VDO sender isn't the right one. I once had a shop put a new sender in my pickup truck. It was not the same as the original and I got only 3/4 reading on the guage when the tank is full. I've learned to live with it though.
