It's a normal bolt (clockwise=tighten). Use PBlaster. The bolt in the middle of the harmonic balancer is really torqued on, so it will take some work and a big breaker bar to get it off. Sears has a 1/2 drive breaker bar that's about two feet long: works great.

The nuts on the idler pulley should be very easy to remove. If needed, use PBlaster.
