We recently replaced the left front rotor on my '93 940. There was an oscillation of the steering wheel when braking at speeds over 30 mph, and a bit of a shudder when braking at higher speeds. We used a dial caliper to measure both front rotors; the right side was fine, the left ran out, but only by 1/1000th of an inch. But replacing the left rotor cleared the problem up.
