Jumping speedometer fixed 200 1988

I found your post fascinating... and a testament to using dielectric grease on all high voltage & important electrical connections.

I had the same problem on my speedo. It was a broken connection running from the service "reset" light assembly on the speedo's backside to the circut board. When I hit a bump, or turn hard, it would set off the service light on the dash. I still have to fix it, but I finally got it figured out.

Peace, Jon
