I have an '88, and it doesn't have a diagnostic socket in the sense
that you can connect a jumper to make it flash out codes. It does
have two wiring pigtails that are located on the left fender and are
used for setting the idle mixture and base idle speed. I never had
to play with mine, but you can probably find an explanation of the
system by searching the Brickboard archives, or maybe someone else
will post it.

BTW- are you trying to diagnose a problem, or is this just idle
curiosity? If there's a problem, we might be able to help.
