hi randy.you have to keep trying to get a code reading.it takes several attempts to get it.if you cannot,then i would try the next step by grounding the terminal 3 times,ect... also it takes several attempts to do it,once you get it you know what i mean.it took me around 12 times to do mine the first time after that 2 times for a friend of mine.you just have to be patient.good luck and god bless.charles.
