A lot of unusual things about the engine compartment in this car

There are a lot of unusual things about the engine compartment in this car. The engine looks like those in the 940 (rear mount distributor, alternator location change, etc.). I'd ask the guy about that, and also it it's Rex/Regina or Bosch. This makes me wonder about the mileage. I'd do a carfax before I bidded.

Let us know what you find out - now I'm real curious.
