wiper assembly 140-160

Just finished the task of changing out the wiper assembly in the 68 142. I now have no useable units left in stock for the early 140 series. The three that I have replaced over the years have failed for various reasons. The one that I just removed has a output shaft that is no longer secure within the worm gear. I have one with two severed legs on the housing. I also have one with worn out and detatched linkage ends.
The Ask, Has anyone ever dealt with anyone who has the components for rebuilding these units? The defective components that I have described as well as perhaps a stronger motor would be of interest? Or how about the conversion to a late 140 style or something else for that matter.
