Yes,i agree with keeping the engine clean and I dont have to have the shiney wax on there.I may try the simple green.I've only created moisture problems in the past while being careful in the sensitive areas.
You can get the engine much cleaner with pressure.
Ihave used gunk to clean greasy areas before i start work to clean accumulated spots.I 've just had problems when doing the whole engine.Next time I'll use compressed air around the connectors and electrical stuff after cleaning.
You know a clean engine and freshly waxed ride increases M.P.G.
