I had a problem with my backup lights. I don't about the tranny on your motor-I have a b230f with the M47-II.

A few months ago mine stopped working. I checked the bulbs and connections-everything was fine. Then I crawled under the car to check the backup light switch on the tranny. Had to rewire it. It had hardened and cracked un the heat.
