Nova wheels 700 1988

Hey, I have a set of Nova's on my 89 Wagon. They were on a parts car I got for $100 with good tires. At first I hated the way they looked--but good tires which wouldn't fit stock 89 240 rims so I had to swap them with mine. Now I love them, I think they look great. I am just trying to figure out how to polish and reseal the alumium without scraping up the metal--any suggestions welcome.
