DON'T KILL YOURSELF - JACKING YOUR CAR

Always good to read about near misses. I once was in a biology class with a guy in a huge leg cast - car fell on him. I decided then that, for me, I would only work on a car that is pretty much on the ground ( I do break my rule sometimes, though). I wonder whether that situation was caused by a tilted ground surface, causing the jack to never be lined up compared to the downward force of gravity.
