I found some of these wonder magnets on a 740 that I disected for parts a few years ago. The only effect that I could see was that they accumulated road debris over who knows how long. This debris contributed to fuel line rot where the magnets were installed(the previous owner was a believer as he had 6 on the car, including 2 on the return line to the tank?????). I would no suggest this.
