I was just referring to Niel's post. As to an early 140 auto tranny cooler that's seperate, i have no idea. I do know for a fact that a 71 auto is cooled by the radiator. Whatever that tells you, which is nothing, sorry i couldn't have been more help. In any case, i'd go and give it a whirl. Couldn't hurt, there are people out there that use oil coolers from any random car in the junkyard that came with one, so this shouldn't pose a problem. Peace and good luck,
