Door won't open 140-160 1971

My drivers door is also quite sticky. It requires me to throw my shoulder into it sometimes to pop it open. A volvo buddy of mine told me to switch the peices of the latch that are bolted to the car with the back door as the drivers door wears more quickly. Works great. Hopefully you don't have a 2door.
