power door locks relays

The central door locks should work when you are locking or unlocking the driver's door. Should operate when the key is used and when the knob on the door is pulled up or pushed down. The other three doors (you have a 244?) should operate mimic the driver's door.

If they don't, post back with what does work, and the detective work will begin.

There is a Volvo Service Manual Wiring Diagrams for the 1984 240 that you will find extremely helpful both in this endeavour and in future situations. I have used mine a lot. Call Ken Cook publishing at 1-800-25-VOLVO and ask about it.

They might be able to help you obtain an Owner's Manual, too.
