9mm are you nuts? The dash was probably laughing at you. I use a 45 Winchester Magnum when I'm trying to scare it. I use my silouhette loads for more effect. 7 in the clip one in the chamber 8" barrel. 32 grains of 296 behind a 230 grain hollow point. Muzzle velocity is in the 1950 FPS range.
