1990 Automatic 240 Overdrive Problem Continued! 200 1990

it's definately something in the transmission if it's temp related.. i woudl first check out the fluid. Make sure it's a cherry red color. If it's all dirty and such and it hasn't been flushed...i woudl suggest flushing it with some commerical tranny flusher. Then refill. If it is temperature related though it shoudl theoretically be okay after driving it for a while. If you try this...and it doesn't work...you may be in for a rebuild...but it's way too soon to tell.
