I recently tried to pry the tires off my wheels before shipping them off to be widened. In under 5 minutes, managed to cut my hand and smack myself in the head with tool. After I regained conciousness, I called some tire shops; price to remove tire ranged from $2.50- $4 each. Pay them to do it.
