I have an 87 740 that had a bad AW70L so I bought an 85 760T and put the AW71 trans out of it in the 87. I am going to put on the rims & new tires that came with on, 14" to 15" also. When I do I know the speedo will be off and want to know if any one has any subjections on how to get the job done right. They both have the same rear end so I am guessing that the speedo reads the sample rate at a different ratio. Will the cluster bolt up wire for wire? I would like to keep the vacuum and amp. meter off the turbo. Changing the odometer to what the 740 reads is a done deal but the speedo is a different story.
