there is no air being drawn into the amm and with your foot off the gas pedal, the throttle sw is closed and the injectors shut off. not much fuel needed when the amm demand is low and the throttle sw closed, so shut off the gas. unless the thing runs bad at SOME OTHER TIME, don't sweat it. good luck, chuck.
